Flights to Paris
How to find flights to ParisParis is one of the most sought after travel destinations in the world, popular for its romantic atmosphere, museums, sights and fashion. Finding flights to Paris is easy considering that plenty of American and European airlines fly into France's capital.
There are two important airports in Paris but the largest and busiest is Charles de Gaulle International Airport (IATA: CDG). The airport is located at about 14 miles northeast of the city and receives flights to Paris from pretty much everywhere in the world. There are three terminals, out of which terminal 3 is dedicated to the low-cost carriers. Terminal 1 and 3 are in the same building, while Terminal 2 (actually the biggest subdivided into 2A trough 2F) is located in another building. The airport is one of the most important hubs in Europe and is also notoriously confusing, so allow plenty of time for transfers. There are shuttles which connect all the terminals and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to kill some time in, but be careful since everything is really expensive. If you run out of battery for your laptop or mobile itís going to be a hassle to find an outlet to charge them.
There are plenty of ways to get from the airport to the city: RER B (Regional Rapid Transit), Roissybus, Les Cars Air France, taxi or shuttle services.
Orly International Airport (IATA: ORY) is the second airport in Paris and is older than CDG. Itís mainly used by Air France and several other European carriers. The airport is connected to the city center by OrlyBus and Orlyval light rail.
