How to find flights to MalagaIf you are planning to spend you beach vacation on Costa del Sol of Spain, you’ll have to search for flights to Malaga.
Malaga Airport (IATA: AGP) is the third biggest airport in Spain and receives flights to Malaga from almost all over the world. The airport connects Spain to 60 countries from all over the world. There are two terminals in the airport, connected internally. The third terminal is under construction and should be finished by 2009.
Plenty of low-cost carriers fly into Malaga, especially during the high tourist season. The airlines serving the airport include: Aeroflot, Alitalia, Blue Air, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Iberia, Jet2com, Lufthansa, Malev, Martinair, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines and Spanair. The busiest routs are those to other EU countries and mostly to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The airport has plenty of facilities. There’s a bank in Terminal 2 while in Terminal 1 you can find several ATMs. Internet is available on both terminals. Both on Terminal 1 and 2 you can find several bars, restaurants and fast-food outlets. You can even spend time visiting the aviation museum.
If you prefer to drive to the cities, you should take N-340 leads to Fuengirola and Malaga. E-15 motorway leads to the towns on Costa del Sol. There are also local trains connecting the airport to Fuengirola and Malaga. Buses (number 19 every 30 min) run between the airport and Malaga as well. There is also a train linking the airport to Malaga city center.
